PEEPS® and PEEPS & COMPANY® Craft Idea! PEEPS Flower Power!
If you have spent any time on Pinterest or Facebook it’s likely you have already seen the many ways to use PEEPS® to create unique Easter Baskets and various other crafts using the tasty treats. I decided to use some of the items listed above that were sent to me to make a very festive edible flower centerpiece. Of course, there are several variations of the craft floating on the internet, but I tried to differentiate mine by using the candies exceptionally to create the ultimate colorful PEEPS® flower power! All you need is:
Supplies:
1 wooden dowel
Small flowerpot
Small piece of floral foam to fit into flowerpot
Round floral foam (for flower head)
Non-toxic glue
Toothpicks
MIKE AND IKE® Jellybeans (to fill the flowerpot)
MIKE AND IKE® Easter Treats (for center)
3 pkgs. PEEPS® Marshmallow Bunnies (1 package each of yellow, pink and purple)
1 pkg. PEEPS® Decorated Eggs
MAKE IT:
- Glue small piece of floral foam to inside of pot. Let sit until dry.
- Place a drop of wooden glue to dowel and poke into round floral foam. Let dry.
- Glue the rod to the bottom of your flowerpot
- Use toothpicks to attach rows of MIKE AND IKE® Easter Treats to the round floral foam in alternating colors to create center of flower.
- Attach rows of PEEPS® Marshmallow Bunnies with toothpicks (double securing bottom PEEPS®) alternating the rows of colors.
- Attach the PEEPS® Decorated Eggs to create outer petals.
- Fill pot with MIKE AND IKE® Jellybeans.
