My Thoughts
I have never seen the animated series prior to receiving the copies for review, so I didn’t know what to expect. Honestly, I thought they might be on the verge of childish and I would have to sit through 13 episodes (both volumes) of kiddish cartoons. However, I was very mistaken! The episodes are extremely well written and action packed with quality animation. I have never read the original comics, but my husband is a hardcore fan and says the series follows them closely! I believe Marvel fanatics will be happy and highly entertained no matter what age they are with the THE AVENGERS: Earth’s Mightiest Heroes!

“Marvel’s The Avengers” Coming May 4th!
I’m a huge Marvel fan and love the 2008 Incredible Hulk movie with Edward Norton, and the newly released Thor and Captain America films. Next year the “Marvel’s The Avengers” movie is coming to theaters on May 4, 2012 and I can’t wait to see it! Check out the trailer below…

The highly anticipated film, directed by Joss Whedon, will be starring Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner and Samuel L. Jackson! WOW that is some cast! It is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series “The Avengers,” first published in 1963.
The ONLY disappointment for me that I have with this movie already is the Incredible Hulk will be played by Ruffalo instead of Norton. Edward Norton was perfect for the role and Mark just doesn’t seem to fit the part.
