Pringles has introduced a tasty twist on multigrain snacks with their new Pringles Multigrain Crisps. The delicious and crunchy stacked with taste chips are now packed with multigrain and come in three mouth-watering flavors: Truly Original, Cheesy Cheddar, and Creamy Ranch. Along with the announcement of the multigrain product line, Pringles has teamed up with Celebrity Chef Tyler Florence to make it easy for consumers to also make a difference while trying new Pringles Multigrain by launching the “U Taste. We Donate” campaign. The campaign is designed to let consumers enter a UPC code off any can of Pringles Multigrain between March 15 through June 30, 2010 at www.PringlesMultigrain.com and Pringles will donate one dollar ( up to a total donation of $100,000) to Share Our Strength, the leading organization working to end childhood hunger in America.
Its hard to conceive that nearly 17 million children last year in America faced hunger at some point. Programs like the “U Taste. We Donate” are very important to help Share Our Strength reach its goal of knocking out the needless hunger which faces children in our own country. You can support the campaign by simply trying the New Pringles Multigrain Crisps and entering your UPC code. Remember, even though a dollar may seem small, it adds up and every bit counts to the children suffering the deleterious effects of hunger.
Thanks to Mom Central, my family was able to try all three flavors. Each one of us liked the Pringles Multigrain Cheesy Cheddar the best. The other flavors were good too, but we favored the robust taste of the Cheesy Cheddar! The chips still have the same great shape and are made from from wheat, rice, potato and corn with zero grams of trans fat!. The multigrain crisps have a unique texture and are not as smooth as the regular Pringles Chips. You can see the flecks of the muligrain in the chips and the crisps are slightly more brittle than the usual Pringles snacks. They remind me of a combination twist of a plain Pringles chip and a Tostitos Tortilla Chip. YUMMY!
To support the “U Taste. We Donate” campaign, Chef Tyler Florence created three unique and delicous recipes to go along with each flavor of Pringles Multigrain to encourage consumers to try the new snacks. The recipes include Picnic Sandwich with Pringles Multigrain Truly Original, Baked Potato Soup with Broccoli and Pringles Multigrain Cheesy Cheddar, and Grilled Steak Sandwich with Pringles Multigrain Creamy Ranch! Check out the yummy recipes at www.pringlesmultigrain.com.
