Aloha Friday! What Is Your Favorite Movie?

Welcome to another week of Aloha Friday!

When I was a kid I always looked forward to watching The Wizard Of Oz every time it came on TV. My mom would pop a huge bowl of buttered popcorn and I would be glued to the television until it was over. Not much has changed since The Wizard Of Oz still remains to be my all time favorite movie. The only difference is I am the mom making the popcorn and cuddling up with my two kiddos as we watch the movie together.

My question this week is…

What is your favorite movie?

I am a total sucker for pretty much any romantic comedy, but my favorite movies of all time are Fried Green Tomatoes and Steel Magnolias.

I love so many movies that I would have a hard time saying just one. I will say that one I love to go back to over & over is "Seven Brides for Seven Brothers" & I'm loving Mama Mia too.

I have so many favorites now, but Wizard of Oz and A Little Princess were my all time childhood favs. I couldn’t even count the number of times I’ve watched them both.

I could give you a very long list. I’m a movie-holic! I just finished watching ‘ALL ROADS LEAD HOME’ starring Peter Coyote, Jason London and Vivien Cardone. It was soooooo good.

This one is a hard one for me…I don’t know if I have a favorite. I love How to Lose a guy in 10 days, and some other romantic comedies. I think that some of the other movies I used to love, I have watched too many times!

Without a doubt, the original “Jaws”. The last hour when the three men are on the boat hunting for the shark is one of the greatest sequences ever put on film. You can’t lose with Spielberg!

Ah, yes. I remember waiting for the Wizard of Oz to come on TV to watch. My husband and I joke that our kids won’t understand that because they have DVDs of their favorite movies they can watch any time they want, again and again!
