That’s why we’ve compiled a list of the top five things to do in Osaka, Japan. Keep reading to learn more!

  1. Osaka Castle

Osaka Castle was built in 1585 and is one of the most incredible displays of Japanese architecture in the country. The main tower of the castle stands five stories tall and contains a beautiful museum with exhibits that discuss the long history of the castle.

  1. Japan’s Best Amusement Parks

You can find amusement parks all over the world, but none will compare to the unique touch that goes into each one of Osaka’s parks. For a more adult-friendly adventure, consider taking a trip to Osaka’s Universal Studios, which includes The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.

For an entirely unique Osaka amusement park experience, you can also visit Hirakata Park, which contains a ton of exciting thrill rides, swimming pools, and restaurants.

  1. Shitenno-Ji Temple

If you’re interested in exploring Japan’s Buddhist temples, the first one on your list should be the Shitenno-Ji Temple in Osaka. This temple can be traced back all the way to 59 AD and is believed to be Japan’s first Buddhist temple.
