My daughter was introduced to Free Realms last year and she LOVES the free virtual world. She enjoys the site and plays almost daily so I thought I would share just in case your kiddos might be interested in getting in on the fun.
Right now Free Realms is running the annual Festival of Hearts and there is some free goodies available for the players.
“The annual Festival of Hearts has begun in Merry Vale. The Festival celebrates an ancient tale of love between Rylan and Arianna. These two young pixies met in what would become Merry Vale, but were separated by magic.
At the heart of the festival is a special flower planted by the couple before they were forced apart. To this day, the flower still blooms. It stands out from the rest of the sunflowers in Merry Vale because of its red, pink and magenta colors.
Every year the fairies of Merry Vale celebrate the magic the flower contains: love, friendship, and kindness. It is a time of joy and laughter that draws visitors from all over Free Realms.
There’s a lot to do at the festival. There is a daily prize wheel, daily quests, Members Only quests, TCG bundles, new pets, and Station Cash and Coin Shop items and outfits, such as the King and Queen of Hearts outfits.
There is a dark side to the festival, however. When Rylan and Arianna’s flower blooms, a dark creature lurks nearby called Stone Heart. Stone Heart has no love and sees the festival as an insult. He will try to crush as much of the special magic as he can so others will be as lonely as he is.
There may even be some items in the Marketplace and Coin Shop inspired by Stone Hearts annual appearance.
To get to the Festival of Hearts, simply use the Merry Vale Warpstone and speak to any of the residents that have the special Festival of Hearts logo above their head. They will help you join the celebration.
