Amazing View You Need to See at Tokyo Tower This Holiday

Tokyo tower is one of best attraction sites you shouldn’t miss while visiting Tokyo. Here are some of the best scenery to experience while at Tokyo tower.

Tokyo Tower

Tokyo normally receives over one million foreign visitors each month.

These crowds don’t flock to Japan’s capital for no reason. Tokyo has a host of tourist attractions, cultural points of interest, and high-quality food and drink.

Of all these attractions, one of the most popular is the Tokyo Tower.

Read on as we show you why no visit to Tokyo is complete without a trip to Tokyo Tower.

What is Tokyo Tower?

Tokyo Tower is made in the style of Paris’s Eiffel Tower. As well as being a tourist attraction, it also has a practical function, serving as a broadcasting tower for radio and television.

The tower is painted in a striking orange and white design and stands 1,092 feet tall, making it the second-tallest structure in all of Japan.

For tourists, Tokyo Tower offers two viewing decks. The first is at 490 feet, the second at 819 feet. Both offer 360-degree views of the city, as well as guides which map out the significant sights.

The tower also has a cafe, a music venue with daily performances, and a souvenir shop.

If you want to look at the tower from a distance, there are a number of well-regarded viewing spots. One recommendation is the Tokyo World Trade Center, from which you get a panoramic view of both Tokyo Tower and its surroundings.

Where is Tokyo Tower?

Tokyo Tower is located in the Minato City district of Tokyo. It is therefore central, and easily accessible by public transport.

Minato City offers a number of other attractions for visitors. The area is noted for its collection of skyscrapers, as well as a number of international embassies.

How Much is Admission to Tokyo Tower?

Admission to Tokyo Tower costs 900 yen (a little over $8) for adults and 500 yen (a little over $4.50) for children.

What Else is There to See and Do in Tokyo?

If you’re going to Tokyo from America, chances are you’re spending at least a week there. With this in mind, you’ll need a few different attractions to keep yourself amused for the duration of your stay.

The Imperial Palace

The Imperial Palace is one of Tokyo’s chief historical attractions. Built in 1457, it is said to be the central point from which the city of Tokyo developed.

National Museum of Nature & Science

One of Tokyo’s foremost museums, the National Museum of Nature and Science is located in Ueno Park and features a vast array of exhibits.

The Meiji Shrine

Completed in 1926, the Meiji Shrine was destroyed in World War II and had to be rebuilt in 1958. It is one of Tokyo’s foremost religious sites today.

Making the Most of Your Trip to Tokyo

Tokyo is one of the most magical cities in the world. Whatever you do in this bustling metropolis, you’re sure to have a good time.

However, for the complete experience, you have to pay a visit to Tokyo Tower.
