Last Wednesday (August 22), former Vice President Al Gore presented a 60 minute updated version of his An Inconvenient Truth slideshow presentation to over 1,000 environmental activists in San Francisco.
The Nobel Laureate’s speech was part of a three-day Climate Reality Leadership training seminar organized by The Climate Reality Project.
TakePart, the company responsible for award-winning films such as “An Inconvenient Truth,” and “Contagion,” sat down with Gore for an exclusive interview on recent weather conditions, which included his views on this year’s heatwaves and drought, President Obama’s green record, and what might change for environmental policy in the United States if Republican Mitt Romney were elected President in November.
