It is very important for your child’s well being and safety that from the moment your baby leaves the hospital he/she is properly restrained in a car seat until he/she grows into adult seat belts. Generally, an infant should be in a rear facing car seat until one year old and 20lbs. In fact, every state requires children up to age 4 and 40lbs to be in a car seat or booster seat until 8 years old and 80 lbs. Oh, man, I would love to win this for my mother. She has so much trouble fastening the one she has when she ferries around my 2-year-old nephew!
