I had the opportunity to be among the first to try the new Good Earth Mediterranean Chicken with angel hair pasta dry dinner kit before it hit shelves this summer and have to say it was delicious! The kit came complete with 100% whole grain angel hair pasta, creamy sauce with olive oil, Mediterranean seasoning with tomatoes, and seasoned whole wheat flour for coating the chicken. All I needed to add was 1lb of fresh cut chicken breast, 1/4 c milk, 1 c hot water, and 2 Tbs. of olive oil to the kit ingredients, and I had an amazing unique dinner to serve in about 25 minutes.
I usually don’t care for the way boxed dinner kits end up tasting, because they have a generic cardboard flavor or the spices are dull and flavorless. This was not the case with the Good Earth Mediterranean Chicken dinner kit. The pasta was perfect and the spices were so fresh and yummy. I was pleasantly surprised. I can’t wait to try the other Good Earth kits!
Along with the dinner kit, MyBlogSpark was very nice to send me a Good Earth gift pack that included two sets of bamboo flatware, two bamboo dishes, a bamboo utility board and a 100% recyclable grocery tote to help create the ultimate dinner experience . Eating the meal with the bamboo flatware and on the bamboo plates gave dinner a nice formal ambiance. My hubby and daughter loved it!
