In Hawaii, Aloha Friday is the day that we take it easy and look forward to the weekend. So I thought that on Fridays I would take it easy on posting, too. Therefore, I’ll ask a simple question for you to answer. Nothing that requires a lengthy response.

Masks and antibacterial soaps are selling like crazy and people are canceling their vacation plans in fear of contracting the virus. Vice President Joe Biden’s comment on NBC’s “Today” show could have caused more panic and people would be afraid to use public transportation, avoid malls and classrooms.
“I would tell members of my family, and I have, I wouldn’t go anywhere in confined places now. It’s not that it’s going to Mexico, it’s you’re in a confined aircraft when one person sneezes it goes all the way through the aircraft. That’s me. I would not be, at this point, if they had another way of transportation suggesting they ride the subway. ”
“If you’re out in the middle of a field and someone sneezes that’s one thing. If you’re in a closed aircraft or a closed container or closed car or closed classroom it’s a different thing.
My question this week is
Do you think the Vice President had a point? Are you avoiding public transportation, keeping your children home from school, canceling vacation plans, or staying out of the stores?
If you enjoy the fresh smell of commercial orange cleaners you will love this substitute citrus-scented vinegar spray that is simple to make and easy on the pocketbook. It costs less than a dollar, ingredients are easily available, and can also be used as a room deodorizer by setting out a small bowl of the citrus vinegar.
INGREDIENTS
Peel from 1 orange, grapefruit, lemon, or lime
3 cups white vinegar
1 clean quart jar with lid
1 clean 32 oz spray bottle
1. Combine the citrus peel and vinegar in the quart jar. Fasten the lid on the jar and store the mixture in your cabinet for approximately two weeks, shaking it occasionally.
2.Remove the citrus peel from the jar, strain the vinegar, and return it to the jar.
3.To use as a cleaner, pour 1 cup of the citrus vinegar in the spray bottle and fill with water.
4.To clean linoleum floors dilute 1 cup of the citrus vinegar with 2 gallons of water.
A simplistic yet effective natural cleaner that will leave your room smelling fresh while disinfecting!

I love the taste of fresh herbs! They can dress up a mediocre recipe and add pizazz! Not only do they taste wonderful but they are good for you.
Cilantro, referred to as the Chinese Parsley, is my favorite herb. It’s delicious in salsa, salads, dips, and Mexican dishes. The taste of cilantro is a mixture of parsley and citrus. Yummy!
The use of Cilantro has been found to help increase our ability to clear up recurring infections, reduce inflammation, fight bad cholesterol, and help control high sugar levels.

If you have a toddler at home I am sure you are fully aware of the energetic child pleasing Wiggles. The four Australian performers, Sam, Anthony, Jeff, and Murray, have already danced, clapped, sang, and wiggled their way into my son’s heart! The World’s Premier Children’s Entertainment Group The Wiggles are launching www.WiggleTime.com, a new educational interactive virtual world this Friday, April 24th! I was given the chance to take a sneak peek at the website before the release date and I have to say I was very impressed!
Getting around in
WiggleTime and visiting the destinations are made easy and FUN! There are three ways of navigating which include, hopping in the “Big Red Car” and cruising down the road, clicking on the desired character on top of the game, or your child can click on the map located at the right hand side. Each way gets you to your desired location.
During your toddler’s stay at WiggleTime some of the virtual places he/she can visit are Sam’s, Jeff’s, Murray’s, and Anthony’s room at Wigglehouse and aid Wag in finding objects in the “Hide and Seek” game, Dorothy the dinosaur’s house to work their way through a maze to help her find her teacups or play the matching game by matching the objects with the correct letters, Captain Feathersword’s Ship to design a flag, and Henry’s the Octopus Underwater World to play the “Octopus’ Sea Orchestra.” My favorite place to visit was Wag’s Kennel to assist Wag in rounding up the animals into their pens!
Every activity fosters your child’s feelings of accomplishment, stimulates their mind, and encourages learning. The games are designed in stages to progressively become more challenging and your child is rewarded with a virtual toy once they complete a given task.
WiggleTime is also parent friendly and provides parents with a monthly report stating how well their child has progressed on the site.
